Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County

Every Tuesday and Friday, a two member team from Faith delivers hot meals to people who cannot prepare their own. The meals are picked up a Baptist church in White Settlement. It takes about an hour to complete the route. The folks are usually ready and waiting our arrival. Beside the noon meals we also deliver evening and weekend boxed meals. While dropping off the meal we like to find out how they are doing and leave them with a warm smile. During the holidays we make up baskets of homemade goodies for each household on our route. They enjoy being remembered during the holiday season. Everyone in the group enjoys participating in this project. It’s very satisfying to all.
